Making Education Accessible
Step on Poverty's Education Initiative aims to use education to improve the community. Since the spread of knowledge is an unending cycle, members of Step on Poverty develop lesson plans and spread awareness for certain causes to people around the community, such as elementary children. We believe that education can help a community grow and thrive.
One of our main projects was the Book Drive, where we collected books that would be donated to underprivileged schools. With a total of 3,762 books, all from members of our community, Step on Poverty's Education Initiative furthers their mission in promoting quality education. Within this project, Step on Poverty also partnered with local elementary schools to bring attention to the importance of education, regardless of situation and circumstance.
