Promoting Economic Pragmatism
Economic Pragmatism is defined as the consideration of economic logic when making decisions. Although it seems rather obvious to use this before carrying out actions that can impact millions, thousands of charities, companies, and nonprofits, forget the importance of this concept. Since there is little to no movement toward promoting practical philanthropy, Step on Poverty is one of the few nonprofits that focus on pragmatism.
Economic Pragmatism is applicable in almost all aspects of a community. From individual practices to corporation structures, communities can prosper with the utilization of this crucial ideology. |
Revealing Nonprofit Potential
Nonprofits have the ability to galvanize entire communities to do incredible acts of altruism, but they are often overlooked since for profits are the companies that are associated with fortune and fame. In fact, the pandemic of failing local nonprofits is one that is widespread. These small nonprofits rely completely on volunteers, the results of which are negligible. The reason for these poor results can be traced back to the fact that nonprofit work provide a positive externality in improvement of overall Nonprofit work should be promoted because it further adds to the progress of society, diversifying the dimensions of our capitalist economy.

Galvanize the Youth
The high school student demographic is often overlooked when considering responsibility. They are regarded as immature students that must learn more before confronting real world experience. This belief is inaccurate because we are all students. In fact, the empirical knowledge that the youth would gain from real world experience is vital to a complete education. Step on Poverty aims to galvanize the youth because they deserve the opportunity to reach their full potential; they deserve an opportunity to fully explore their academic interests. Through our Initiative Model, students are granted that opportunity in a guided process that will challenge and expand their knowledge.
